Flood Watch issued April 14 at 3:03AM HST until April 15 at 6:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI
...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT FOR KAUAI COUNTY AND
THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON FOR OAHU AND MAUI COUNTY...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall remains
possible.
* WHERE...Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and Kahoolawe.
* WHEN...Through Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be
closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas
may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to
rapid runoff.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periods of heavy showers and thunderstorms associated with a
slow moving front remain possible through Monday. Conditions
will steadily begin to improve from west to east Monday night
through Tuesday as drier air moves in.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
