Counties.

Ohio River At Wellsville affecting Columbiana County.

Ohio River Near New Cumberland affecting Hancock and Jefferson OH
Counties.

Ohio River At Hannibal affecting Monroe, Tyler and Wetzel
Counties.

Allegheny River At CW Bill Young Dam affecting Allegheny County.

Ohio River At East Liverpool affecting Beaver, Columbiana,
Hancock and Jefferson OH Counties.

.Additional rain fell across the region over the past 24 hours with
the highest amounts falling over western Pennsylvania and northern
West Virginia. Runoff from the recent heavy rains has resulted in
rapid rises on the Ohio and Allegheny rivers with many locations
reaching or exceeding flood stage.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Allegheny River at CW Bill Young Dam.

* WHEN...Until this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 17.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EDT Saturday was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this afternoon and continue falling to 15.1 feet Thursday
morning.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
17.0 feet on 09/10/2004.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.
