Flood Warning issued April 12 at 6:33PM EDT until April 13 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Light to moderate rain today combined with heavy rain over the last
24 hours will result in flooding concerns lingering through early
tonight.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest, west central, and western
Pennsylvania, including the following counties, in northwest
Pennsylvania, western Forest, Mercer and Venango. In west central
Pennsylvania, central Armstrong, Butler and Clarion. In western
Pennsylvania, Lawrence.
* WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations will continue. Area creeks and streams
have began to fall, but numerous roads remain closed due to
flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 630 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
New Castle, Hermitage, Butler, Oil City, Grove City,
Franklin, Clarion, Kittanning, Knox, Rimersburg, Homeacre-
Lyndora, Greenville, Sugarcreek, Shanor-Northvue, Meridian,
Slippery Rock, Meadowood, New Wilmington, Oakwood and New
Bethlehem.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
