* Flash Flood Warning for...
Western Forest County in northwestern Pennsylvania...
Mercer County in northwestern Pennsylvania...
Venango County in northwestern Pennsylvania...
Central Armstrong County in west central Pennsylvania...
Northern Butler County in west central Pennsylvania...
Clarion County in west central Pennsylvania...
Lawrence County in western Pennsylvania...

* Until 245 AM EDT.

* At 945 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
New Castle, Hermitage, Butler, Oil City, Grove City, Franklin,
Clarion, Kittanning, Knox, Rimersburg, Homeacre-Lyndora,
Greenville, Sugarcreek, Shanor-Northvue, Slippery Rock, New
Wilmington, Oakwood, New Bethlehem, New Castle Northwest and West
Kittanning.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
