The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Allegheny County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
Western Fayette County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
Eastern Greene County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
Southeastern Washington County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
Marion County in northern West Virginia...
Monongalia County in northern West Virginia...
Eastern Wetzel County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 714 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 0.8 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Morgantown, McKeesport, Fairmont, Westover, Mannington, Star City,
Jefferson Hills, Monessen, Clairton, California, Donora,
Monongahela, Charleroi, Masontown, Pleasant Valley, Bentleyville,
Liberty, Brownsville, Winfield and Fredericktown-Millsboro.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
