Flash Flood Warning issued April 11 at 6:44PM EDT until April 11 at 10:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 644 PM EDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Public reported flash flooding near Wolfdale PA. Creeks
and streams were flooded near Rex Road and Jefferson
Avenue.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Bethel Park, McMurray, McKeesport, Washington, Canonsburg,
Waynesburg, Gastonville, West Mifflin, Upper St. Clair, South Park
Township, Jefferson Hills, Pleasant Hills, Clairton, Glassport,
Monongahela, Wolfdale, McGovern, Bentleyville, Liberty and East
Washington.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
