Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 9 at 8:03PM CDT until April 9 at 8:30PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 803 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lago Vista, or
11 miles west of Cedar Park, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Bertram, Anderson Mill,
Leander, Lago Vista, Hudson Bend, Liberty Hill, Oatmeal, Smithwick,
Jonestown, Volente, Brushy Creek, Jollyville, and Seward Junction.
