Residents of Pocono Township,
We want to inform you that a 4.8 magnitude earthquake was reported affecting areas from our community through to Manhattan. Thankfully, this event is considered minor, and we have not received reports of significant damage or injuries at this time.
We urge all residents to remain calm and safe. Please remember to call 911 only in the event of a true emergency. For any utility issues or infrastructure damage, kindly contact Pocono Township directly at 570-629-1922.
