Special Weather Statement issued April 3 at 7:56PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
A complex storm continues to affect the region. Following the
storms from earlier, a strong surge of west winds is expected to
move through the area late this evening into the overnight,
roughly between the 11 pm - 1 am timeframe. This will be
relatively short lived but is likely to produce winds 20 to 30
gusting 40 to 50 mph. This could result in tree damage and power
outages.
The surge of winds may also be preceded by some additional strong
thunderstorms moving through around the 9pm to 11 PM timeframe.
