Flood Warning issued April 3 at 3:42PM EDT until April 4 at 1:19AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
...The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Pennsylvania...
Chester Creek Near Chester affecting Delaware County.
For the Chester Creek...including Chester...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Chester Creek near Chester.
* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, The creek floods adjacent open land.
At 10.5 feet, Flood damage, adjacent to the creek, begins in the
city of Chester.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:16 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 6.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
afternoon to 9.5 feet this evening. It will then fall below
flood stage later this evening to 4.2 feet.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.5 feet on 03/13/2010.
