Special Weather Statement issued April 3 at 1:03PM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
At 103 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Williston Highlands to 14 miles
northwest of Crystal River Airport to 17 miles west of Pine Island.
Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Inverness, Williston, Homosassa Springs, Beverly Hills, Williston
Highlands, Crystal River Airport, Black Diamond, Homosassa, Inverness
Highlands North, Williston Municipal Airport, Inverness Highlands
South, Hernando, Sugarmill Woods, Inglis, Arbor Lakes, Lecanto,
Citronelle, Leisure Acres, Pine Ridge, and Citrus Hills.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for northern,
central and west central Florida.
