Waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 to 60 NM...
Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 245 PM EDT.
* At 1246 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 6 nm northwest
of Yankeetown to 27 nm west of Anclote Key to 60 nm west of Egmont
Key, moving east at 40 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats, damage
vessels, and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots,
suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy
downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life
jackets.

Terra Ceia Bay, Ozello, Manatee Nearshore Reef, Clearwater Beach,
Bayport, Old Tampa Bay, Howard Frankland Bridge, Madeira Beach
Reef, Tarpon Springs, Longboat Key, Yankeetown, Cockroach Bay, Anna
Maria Island, Treasure Island Reef, Hernando Beach, Pass-A-Grille
Channel, Indian Shore Reef, Southwest Channel, Saint Pete Beach
Reef, and Port Manatee Reef.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for northern and
west central Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
