Special Weather Statement issued April 3 at 11:14AM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL
At 1114 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers and thunderstorm
near Archer, or 9 miles northeast of Bronson, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 35 to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, Hawthorne, Archer, University Of Florida, Rochelle,
Cross Creek, Orange Heights, Gainesville Airport, Newnans Lake, and
Newberry.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for northern
Florida.
