Flood Warning issued April 2 at 1:24PM EDT until April 2 at 4:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland
Counties in southwestern Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Although
rainfall has ended for the next several hours, streams continue to
rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 122 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in
the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly, and was reported in Brownsville,
PA. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Greensburg, Uniontown, Jeannette, Latrobe, Connellsville,
Gastonville, South Park Township, Jefferson Hills, Monessen,
Clairton, California, Donora, Mount Pleasant, Scottdale,
Monongahela, Charleroi, Irwin, Masontown, Manor and
Youngwood.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
