Flood Warning issued April 2 at 11:41AM EDT until April 2 at 2:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Fayette, southern Westmoreland, eastern Greene,
southeastern Allegheny, and southeastern Washington Counties in
Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...Until 245 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1139 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain and
localized flooding along creeks and streams in the warned
area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing. Between 1 and
1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Greensburg, Uniontown, Jeannette, Latrobe, Connellsville,
Gastonville, South Park Township, Jefferson Hills, Monessen,
Clairton, California, Donora, Mount Pleasant, Scottdale,
Monongahela, Charleroi, Irwin, Masontown, Manor and
Youngwood.
