Flood Warning issued April 2 at 10:54AM EDT until April 2 at 5:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Pennsylvania,
including the following counties, in southwest Pennsylvania,
northeastern Allegheny and northwestern Westmoreland. In west
central Pennsylvania, southwestern Armstrong and southeastern
Butler.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1052 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding
is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1 and 2
inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding was reported on Route 128 North near Freeport.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Penn Hills, Monroeville, Vandergrift, Apollo, Plum,
Murrysville, New Kensington, Lower Burrell, Harrison
Township, Oakmont, Arnold, Tarentum, Natrona Heights,
Springdale, Brackenridge, Delmont, Leechburg, Freeport,
Cheswick and Russellton.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
