Flood Warning issued March 23 at 2:56PM EDT until March 23 at 3:15PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, including the following
county, New Castle, central New Jersey, including the following
county, Mercer, and southeast Pennsylvania, including the
following counties, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and
Philadelphia.
* WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 255 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of very heavy
rainfall across the warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- For Assunpink Creek at Mercerville:
At 2:30pm the stage was 9.61 feet.
Flood Stage is 9.5 feet.
For Pennypack Creek at Pennypack:
At 2:45pm the stage was 9.2 feet.
Flood Stage is 7 feet.
For Wissahickon Creek at Wissahickon:
At 2:00pm the stage was 5.66 feet.
Flood Stage is 5 feet.
For Ridley Creek at Media:
At 2:30pm the stage was 7.07 feet.
Flood Stage is 7 feet.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
