...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Pennsylvania...
Chester Creek Near Chester affecting Delaware County.
For the Chester Creek...including Chester...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Chester Creek near Chester.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, The creek floods adjacent open land.
At 10.5 feet, Flood damage, adjacent to the creek, begins in the
city of Chester.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:01 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 9.7 feet and cresting.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:01 PM EDT Saturday was 9.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.7
feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
this evening
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.5 feet on 03/13/2010.
