Deadline for Downtown Revitalization Fund Applications Extended to April 15th, 2024
TANNERSVILLE, NY – The deadline to apply for building renovations funds through the Village of Tannersville’s Downtown Revitalization Fund is approaching. Interested developers and property owners must submit a completed application and all supporting documentation by the 4:00 PM April 15, 2024 to be considered to receive funding.
Developers can receive between $50,000 and $100,000 for commercial only renovations and up to $150,000 for mixed use projects will qualifying residential improvements up to 60% of total project costs. The small project fund is a component of the Village’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative award and is designed to increase the range and types of buildings that are improved and transformed as part of the larger initiative.

Interested developers should pay special attention to the attachments requested in question three of the application and provide specific, thoughtful responses to the F – I. Responses to these questions will strongly factor into application scoring. Developers are also encouraged to read through the DRF Administrative Plan for detailed information on eligible activities and contract requirements if awarded. This is a reimbursement program – developers of awarded projects must be able to incur the full costs of the project for up to two years before projects are closed out and reimbursements are issued.
