Special Weather Statement issued March 16 at 9:28AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 928 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Karnes City, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kenedy, Karnes City, Runge, Nordheim, Cotton Patch, Ecleto, Helena,
and Coy City.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
