High Wind Warning issued March 16 at 6:23AM CDT until March 16 at 8:00AM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TX
* WHAT...East winds gusting to 50 mph.
* WHERE...Inland Kleberg, Inland Nueces, Inland San Patricio,
Coastal Kleberg, Coastal Nueces, Coastal San Patricio, Kleberg
Islands and Nueces Islands Counties.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM CDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
