Lane Restrictions Thursday and Friday Night on Route 30 (Wrights Ferry) Bridge Between Lancaster and York Counties
Contractor to return traffic to original configuration.
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today there will be lane restrictions this Thursday and Friday night on Route 30 at the median barrier project on the Route 30 (Wrights Ferry) Bridge connecting Lancaster and York counties. The bridge spans the Susquehanna River between Hellam Township in York County and Columbia Borough in Lancaster County.
The restrictions will be in place so the contractor can shift traffic back into its original configuration and place permanent pavement markings on the structures.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM the nights of Thursday, March 14, and Friday, March 15.
There will be lane restrictions Thursday night on the westbound side of the bridge and Friday night on the eastbound side of the bridge.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
This project includes improvements to the median barrier and other construction activities.
JD Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA is the prime contractor on this $5,247,787 project. Work is expected to be completed by November 2024.
