Public Works is currently posting the streets that will be swept tomorrow and will continue to move them around the Borough until all streets have been swept. All signs state the entire time that street sweeping will be taking place to save time. When the signs are on the street, you can not park on the street until the signs are removed. If you park on the street when it is posted, you will be ticketed, and can be towed. The signs will be removed from each street as they are completed so that residents can return to parking on their street as quickly as possible. Those signs will be moved to the next streets to be swept to give residents as much time as possible to move their vehicles. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Our goal is to get the streets clean, not to issue tickets. When vehicles are out of the way, the sweeping can be completed much more efficiently and quickly.
