Winter Storm Watch issued March 9 at 9:45AM EST until March 11 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
in excess of 6 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40
mph.
* WHERE...Northern Erie, Southern Erie and Crawford counties.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest snow totals are expected in
the higher terrain of southern Erie and northern Crawford
Counties. Wind chills will likely fall into the teens Sunday and
Sunday night.
