Description
The Municipality of Penn Hills - Department of Public Works is seeking a full-time Mechanic to perform skilled and semi-skilled routine tasks in the maintenance and repair of municipal vehicles, including light trucks, heavy trucks and heavy equipment; does related work as required. An employee in this class is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of selected public works vehicles including overhauling engines, replacing worn or defective parts, and repairing body damage. May perform annual state inspections of vehicles.
