Description
Register today for a free PRC Backyard Composting Workshop on Saturday, March 23, in Upland Park in Delaware County. The 90-minute workshop will take place from 10-11:30 am at the Redwoods Center in Upland Park, 280 6th Street, in Brookhaven, PA.
The first 30 individuals to register for the workshop will receive a FREE 82-gallon composting bin (one per household).
Participants will learn about the importance and benefits of composting, the process, setting up a compost pile, proper maintenance, and ways of using finished compost. By composting, individuals can expand their recycling efforts to include food scraps and yard debris.
