Special Weather Statement issued March 8 at 6:36AM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 636 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
West Lake Hills, or over Austin, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Anderson Mill,
Windemere, Austin Bergstrom Int Airport, Hutto, Manor, West Lake
Hills, Rollingwood, Barton Creek, Hornsby Bend, Jonestown, Sunset
Valley, Volente, Brushy Creek, Wells Branch, Jollyville, and Camp
Mabry.
