Special Weather Statement issued March 5 at 10:15PM EST by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
At 1014 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 22 miles northwest of Crystal River Airport to
near Tampa International Airport to 21 miles southwest of Gulf Gate
Estates. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Tampa, Spring Hill, Clearwater, North Port, Sarasota, Bradenton,
Pinellas Park, Plant City, Temple Terrace, New Port Richey,
Zephyrhills, Palmetto, Brooksville, Inverness, Dade City, Hudson,
Beverly Hills, Fish Hawk, Saint Petersburg, and Brandon.
