Description
Please be advised, the traffic signal at the intersection of Buffalo Road and Water Street, that was knocked out yesterday due to an emergency incident, has been repaired and traffic flow has resumed as usual as of this morning.
Thanks to our neighboring municipalities who helped us to handle the situation, thanks to the emergency services on scene, and thanks to the utility companies who got out quickly to make the repairs.
Note - the intersection in general is still in rough shape and the decades old system is in dire need of upgrades. Thankfully, we have received a Green Lights Go grant from PennDOT and this intersection will be completely redone before the end of 2025. We just need to keep them safe and operational through then.
