PLEASE BE ADVISED
An emergency incident occurred near the intersection of Buffalo Road and Water Street today at around noon. A tractor-trailer exceeding the legal height limit was traveling along Buffalo Road and snagged several overhead utility lines, causing a telephone pole to dangerously lean over the roadway and several utility lines to drape low.
The utility companies have been contacted, and repairs are underway. Once the temporary repairs are completed, the intersection will be reopened to the public as a four-way stop.
PLEASE NOTE: THE INTERSECTION WILL REOPEN AS A FOUR-WAY STOP. The traffic lights are flashing, and drivers are expected to come to a complete stop before continuing through.
Please exercise caution and show courtesy to other drivers.
Stay safe, Wesleyville.
