Good afternoon, Yankeetown Residents
I would like to inform you of just a few things. It has been almost 6 months since the Hurricane Idalia. Since then, the Town has had multiple obstacles to manage while trying to help residents and businesses get back on their feet.
Many of you heard about the Form 6 disclosures that forced two of our Council members to step down for the time being. In the office we have a petition if anyone would like to come in and sign it requesting the Florida Legislature to make exceptions to the ruling on who is required to file a form 6. (see attachment)
We currently have multiple openings in many of our boards. We are calling volunteers to step into these positions.
Open Positions:
1 Council Seat (you will have to file a Form 6. Come by the office if you would like more information on this)
2 seats open on the Board of Adjustments
