Special Weather Statement issued February 24 at 6:50AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Light snow will overspread the area this morning before tapering
off by this afternoon. Light accumulations of up to 1 to locally
2 inches can be expected south of I-70, with a dusting up to a
half inch possible farther north. While most of the snow
accumulation will be on grassy and elevated surfaces, some slick
spots on roads will be possible, especially bridges and
overpasses. Reduced visibilities can also be expected.
Please use extra caution if traveling this morning and allow for
some extra time to reach your destination.
