The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
Southern Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania...
Northwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
Northwestern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
North central Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 445 PM EST.

* At 416 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Claussville to Adamstown, moving southeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Flash freeze on roads. Intense bursts of heavy snow and
gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling
visibility. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.

SOURCE...Radar and webcams.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 296 and 308.
Northeast Extension between mile markers 40 and 57.
Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 35 and 62.
Interstate 176 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 1 and 11.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Reading, Pottstown, Coatesville, Emmaus, Wyomissing,
Quakertown, Birdsboro, Kutztown, Hamburg, Fleetwood, Sinking Spring,
Laureldale, East Greenville, Womelsdorf, Wernersville, Topton,
Robesonia, Leesport, and Honey Brook.

Wet roadways will quickly freeze. Black ice will cause roads,
bridges, and overpasses to become slick and dangerous. Slow down and
be prepared for a sudden loss of traction.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
