Special Weather Statement issued February 17 at 11:55AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Locally heavy snow showers and squalls will continue to spread
across the area through this afternoon. The primary impacts will
include sudden and drastic reductions in visibility and rapid
deteriorations in road conditions due to quick snow accumulation.
Motorists should be prepared for locally hazardous driving
conditions and slick roads.
