Special Weather Statement issued February 17 at 9:35AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 935 AM EST, snow showers were located along a line extending from
8 miles southwest of Knox to 6 miles north of Sarver to near
Sharpsburg. Movement was east at 25 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Ross Township, McCandless Township,
Monroeville, Cranberry, New Castle, Greensburg, Hermitage, Sharon,
Butler, Franklin Park, Jeannette, Beaver Falls, Grove City, Clarion,
Vandergrift, Sharpsville, Kittanning, and Apollo.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike near mile marker 7, and between mile markers
10 and 68.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 70 and 123.
Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 72.
Parkway North between mile markers 4 and 13.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 26, and
between mile markers 76 and 84.

Snow will lead to reduced visibilities and hazardous travel
conditions.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
