Winter Storm Warning issued February 17 at 5:42AM EST until February 17 at 9:00AM EST by NWS State College PA

* WHAT...Steady snow transitioning this morning to scattered snow
showers and localized snow squalls. Storm total snow
accumulation of 3 to 6 inches with a few locations near and to
the east of Harrisburg receiving as much as 8 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of South-Central Pennsylvania and the Lower
Susquehanna Valley.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EST this Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...West-Northwest winds gusting up to 35 mph
at times later this morning and this afternoon could create
areas of blowing and drifting snow and low visibility.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all
travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel as significant
winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous.
