Join Our Civil Service Commission!
Crafton Borough is seeking candidates to fill an open alternate seat on the Civil Service Commission. As a member of the Commission, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the hiring process for police officers and addressing disciplinary matters.
Duties:
•Write Rules and Regulations for hiring police officers.
•Oversee and monitor the hiring process.
•Serve as a hearing body for candidate challenges and disciplinary matters.
Requirements:
•Must be a full-time resident and qualified elector of Crafton Borough
•Appointed by Crafton Borough Council for a six-year term.
•No other elected or appointed office in government
•Knowledge of local government and experience in law enforcement or legal matters preferred.
