Join Our Zoning Hearing Board!
Crafton Borough is seeking candidates to fill an open alternate seat on the Zoning Board. As a member of the Board, you'll play a vital role in hearing appeals, requests for variances, and challenges related to zoning and land use regulations.
Duties:
•Hear appeals from the Zoning Administrator's decisions.
•Consider requests for variances and special exceptions.
•Address challenges to zoning provisions.
•Appoint its own Solicitor (not Municipal Solicitor).
Requirements:
•Must be a full-time resident of Crafton Borough.
•Not currently serving as a Council Member.
•Appointed by Crafton Borough Council for a three-year term.
•Knowledge of local government and experience in planning and zoning preferred.
