Join Our Shade Tree Commission!
Crafton Borough is looking for dedicated individuals to join the Shade Tree Commission and help enhance the urban tree population of our community. As a member of the commission, you'll play a vital role in improving air quality, managing stormwater, and beautifying our neighborhoods through the maintenance of trees.
Duties:
•Maintain and enhance the urban tree population of Crafton.
•Improve air quality and stormwater management.
•Increase the aesthetic appeal of our neighborhoods.
•Maintain Tree City USA designation and requirements.
Requirements:
•Must be a full-time resident of Crafton Borough.
•Appointed by Crafton Borough Council for a five-year term.
•Certification as a Tree Tender is required.
