Description
The plaque on the Red Hill Road Bridge that dates back to 1919, was stolen approximately 9:30 PM Sunday evening, according to residents in the area, who heard noise outside and saw a few people with yellow construction shirts on and a pick-up truck and assumed they were part of the construction crew. The Red Hill Road Bridge is currently being replaced and the construction workers reported the theft yesterday, Monday, February 12, 2024.

The plaque is of historic significance and value to the Township and will prosecute those that stole the property to the fullest extent of the law.

The Township is checking with property owners and asking those that reside in the area to check their cameras.

The theft was reported to the State Police.
