Winter Storm Warning issued January 27 at 3:10PM EST until January 29 at 12:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 10
inches possible, especially for elevations above 1000 feet.
* WHERE...In Massachusetts, Northern Berkshire County. In New
York, Western Albany and Western Greene Counties. In Vermont,
Western Windham County.
* WHEN...From 6 AM Sunday to noon EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult due to snow covered
roadways and reduced visibility. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Monday morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Valley areas may see snow mixed with rain,
reducing snow accumulations.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
