Winter Storm Watch issued January 27 at 3:02AM EST until January 29 at 12:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8
inches possible, especially for elevations above 1000 feet.
* WHERE...In Massachusetts, Northern Berkshire and Southern
Berkshire Counties. In New York, Schoharie, Western Albany and
Western Greene Counties.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult due to snow covered
roadways and reduced visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Valley areas may see some mixing with
rainfall, reducing snow accumulation in those areas. The highest
chance of moderate to heavy snowfall accumulation will be within
the high terrain of the Berkshires, Helderbergs and eastern and
northern Catskills.
