Special Weather Statement issued January 25 at 10:54AM EST by NWS State College PA
Very light wind and mild, moist air flowing over the cold and in
some areas, snow-covered ground, will lead to widespread fog with
visibility between one half of a mile and 2 miles in the valleys
for the rest of the day and early tonight.
Locally dense fog with visibility under one quarter of a mile will
occur across the ridges.
Use caution if your travel route will cross the higher terrain
where the visibility could be very poor near the ridge tops. Slow
down and allow plenty of braking distance between you and the
vehicle ahead.
