Waste Management Notification – January 2024
As permitted by contract, the refuse removal costs for Middle Paxton Township residents will be increased with their next quarterly invoice.
The increase is due to a rise in disposal costs (Tipping Fee) at the Susquehanna Resource Management Complex (SRMC, Harrisburg Incinerator).

The disposal increase of $4.12 per ton equates to a quarterly increase for Middle Paxton Township residents of $1.23.
A message will be included in the resident’s next Waste Management invoice providing notification of the increase.
This notification was posted by Middle Paxton Township. Middle Paxton Township is solely responsible for this notification and unless specifically indicated, no other community or individual utilizing Savvy Citizen is sponsoring, responsible for, or endorsing this notification.
