Flood Watch issued January 24 at 11:04AM CST until January 25 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

Locally heavy rain will be possible over the next 24 hours as an
upper level storm system moves toward South Central Texas. This
region is saturated, and any additional rainfall will runoff quickly
leading to flash and river flooding.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bastrop, Caldwell, De Witt, Fayette, Gonzales,
Guadalupe, Karnes, Lavaca, Lee and Wilson.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are running high
and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Moderate to heavy rain is possible through Thursday morning.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with isolated
amounts near 3 inches are possible. With saturated soil,
runoff will be quick with any additional rainfall.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
