At 1005 AM EST, an area of heavier snow showers was located near
Wolfdale, or near Avella, moving east at 15 mph.
Locations impacted include...
Bethel Park, McMurray, Washington, Uniontown, Canonsburg,
Connellsville, Avella, Gastonville, Upper St. Clair, South Park
Township, Cecil-Bishop, Monessen, California, Donora, Monongahela,
Charleroi, Wolfdale, McGovern, Bentleyville, and Brownsville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 13 and 46.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 29 and 52.
Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this intense
snow shower. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads
are likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.
