The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Alenuihaha Channel...
Big Island Leeward Waters...
Big Island Windward Waters...
Maui County Windward Waters...
* Until 230 AM HST.
* At 1228 AM HST, showers were located along a line extending from 24
nm northeast of FAD Buoy FF to 35 nm south of FAD Buoy SO, moving
east at 35 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
FAD Buoy M, FAD Buoy HS, FAD Buoy OT, Upolu Point, FAD Buoy XX, FAD
Buoy ZZ, FAD Buoy FF, and FAD Buoy GG.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
