Wind Chill Warning issued January 15 at 3:57PM CST until January 16 at 9:00AM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...For the Wind Chill Warning, dangerously cold wind chills
expected. Wind chills as low as eight below zero. For the Wind
Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as
low as zero.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Texas.
* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Warning, until 9 AM CST Tuesday. For
the second Wind Chill Advisory, from 9 AM Tuesday to 10 AM CST
Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if
precautions are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While wintry precipitation has come to an
end, residual icy spots could remain on some area roadways.
Avoid outside activities if possible. When outside, make sure you
wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
