Northwestern Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania...

* Until 815 AM EST.
* At 725 AM EST, a hazardous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Rimersburg to near Hampton Township, moving
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
greater than 35 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.
This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 30 and 50.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 70 and 77.
Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania near mile marker 64.
Parkway North between mile markers 9 and 13.

Ross Township, McCandless Township, Butler, Franklin Park,
Punxsutawney, Vandergrift, Kittanning, Apollo, Rimersburg, Shaler
Township, Plum, Hampton Township, New Kensington, Lower Burrell,
Harrison Township, O'hara Township, Wexford, Homeacre-Lyndora, West
View, and Oakmont.
Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
