Description
Special Weather Statement issued January 13 at 3:30AM EST by NWS State College PA

A several hour period of light and variable wind combined with
moist air above the cold, and in some areas snow-covered ground
will lead to widespread fog with visibility dropping to below one
quarter of a mile in some locations.

A cold front, currently nearing the Ohio, Pennsylvania border at
330 AM, will sweep east across the region during the mid to late
morning hours, quickly dissipating the fog as winds become
southwesterly and increase to 15 to 25 mph with gusts over 45 mph
during the late morning and afternoon hours.

Allow extra time for travel early today. Use the low beams of your
headlights for the best visibility and keep plenty of braking
distance between you and the vehicle ahead.
